1. Zero Trust Acquisition: Cloudflare has acquired BastionZero to add zero trust infrastructure access controls for the Cloudflare One SASE Network. This deal will strengthen remote access to core IT systems for Cloudflare One customers, the company said. This is deal number 140 MSSP Alert and ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2024. 2. AI-driven Cybersecurity for Data Centers: Cybersecurity provider Trend Micro will demo a new data center solution, using Nvidia technology and harnessing the power of AI, for security conscious business and government customers. Trend Vision One Sovereign and Private Cloud integrates with Nvidia NIM, a set of inference microservices, as part of the Nvidia AI Enterprise software platform.

3. Okta Targeted by Threat Actors: The cross-origin authentication feature in Okta’s Customer Identity Cloud (CIC) is being targeted by threat actors orchestrating credential-stuffing attacks, Okta reported in a recent post. Okta said that it has proactively notified the customers that have this feature enabled and provided them with additional guidance in a customer email.

4. Custom Dashboards for Cybersecurity: Sophos has introduced custom dashboards in an effort to simplify security management and increase operational efficiencies in Sophos Central, the company’s AI-native security platform used by more than 600,000 organizations.

5. New SVP of Partner Ecosystem Speaks: SentinelOne’s new senior vice president of Partner Ecosystem said that two things drew him to the cybersecurity company from his most recent job heading up channel at Lacework. First, SenintelOne “has a clear vision that meets the moment: Secure every surface, every minute of the day.” And second was “The Sheer opportunity for both the company and its partners. Top 3 Directives for CISOs: Gartner kicked off its Security and Risk Management Summit in National Harbor, Maryland with a keynote that urged CISOs to augment their cybersecurity approach in three ways – building cyber fault tolerance in the business, utilizing a minimum effective toolset, and building a resilient cyber workforce.

7. Top Cybersecurity Concerns: A new cybersecurity research report from CDW identifies Zero Trust and employee training among the critical cybersecurity strategies for organizations. CDW surveyed more than 950 US tech and security pros for the research. Another issue survey respondents said impacted their cybersecurity is lack of budgetary resources.
