Luxembourg and Denmark, through their contributions to the IT coalition, have sent network equipment and auxiliary licenses worth over 2 million euros to Ukraine, bolstering Ukraine’s cybersecurity.

“The new batch of equipment will enhance the protection of our networks and facilitate the implementation of various information systems, which is one of our priorities. We continue to work towards technological advantage over our adversaries,” stated Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Transformation, Digital Development, and Digitalization Katerina Chernogorenko, as reported by the Ministry of Defense.

According to her, this equipment will assist the cybersecurity personnel of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in defending their information and communication systems from cyberattacks.

Earlier, the IT coalition, led by Estonia and Luxembourg, provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces with laptops, monitors, and other communication equipment worth 900 thousand euros. Overall, the IT coalition has already provided assistance totaling over 5 million euros for the development of IT infrastructure for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with contributions from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, and bilateral aid from Canada.
