Al-Hasakah province: Members of anti-narcotics forces of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” arrested 14 drug dealers during a raid operation on several neighborhoods in Al-Hasakah city, where large quantities of drugs were confiscated. The arrested people were taken to a security centre of “Asayish” and their fate remains unknown.
Regime forces, through drug dealers, work on promoting narcotic drugs in areas controlled by Autonomous Administration to spread chaos and undermine the security of the region.
On February 6, SOHR sources reported that members of anti-narcotics department of the Internal Security Forces have arrested a drug dealer in Al-Tabaqah city in Al-Raqqah countryside in a security operation after coming back from regime-held areas, where quantity of drug were found in his possession.
He was taken to a security centre of “Asayish” in the region and his fate remains unknown.
Meanwhile, anti-narcotics department arrested nine drug dealers and abusers in Al-Qamishly city in Al-Hasakah countryside, where narcotic substances were found in their possession.
