GlobalConnect, a U.S.-based provider of breakroom services, has acquired Theft Detective, an automated video monitoring system designed for unattended retail environments, according to a press release.
Theft Detective’s hardware integrates with existing self-checkouts to minimize shoplifting without having to overhaul the existing POS systems.
