CyberCX has opened a new Auckland office that features a security operations centre (SOC) and over 100 staff.

The office located at 131 Queen Street in Auckland’s CBD is CyberCX’s largest workspace in New Zealand, adding to its facilities in Wellington and Christchurch.

The Auckland SOC joins the company’s Wellington SOC in New Zealand as part of a network of nine SOCs globally.

“When we launched CyberCX in New Zealand we set out to unify New Zealand’s leading cyber security talent, expertise and capability and to create the country’s first full-service cyber security firm,” said CyberCX Group CEO John Paitaridis.

“We have made strong investments to expand and grow our capability, service offerings and workforce in New Zealand. Following the launch of offices in Wellington and Christchurch over the past 24 months, our new nine-year lease in Auckland reflects our long-term commitment to businesses, enterprises and government agencies in New Zealand.”

CyberCX has 200 cloud and cybersecurity staff across its New Zealand offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

“We have the largest specialised cyber security workforce in New Zealand and an unmatched depth of cyber advisory, risk and technical services to defend New Zealand organisations from global and local cyber threats,” said CyberCX New Zealand CEO Tim Sewell.

“We designed our new Auckland workspace with the best employee experience in mind coupled with exceptional facilities for our customers and communities to collaborate and solve cyber challenges.”
