BlueVoyant launches security ops platform

Cybersecurity company BlueVoyant has launched the Cyber Defence Platform, a cloud-native security operations platform that leverages the power of AI. The platform integrates internal, external and supply chain defence solutions into a single cost-effective platform.

The Cyber Defence Platform provides AI-powered security operations that span an enterprise’s entire attack surface. It processes data and alerts from internal networks, supply chains, the open internet and the dark web to allow for a comprehensive security response.

Capabilities of the platform include managed endpoint detection and response as well as security information and event management. The platform can also be used to manage and respond to risk from third parties including suppliers and vendors, and to external risks such as phishing and brand impersonation.

The platform meanwhile provides a proactive approach to attack surface management that includes vulnerability management, external attack surface management, penetration testing and phishing awareness among other capabilities.

Organisations can also use the platform to assess and improve their security posture by leveraging guidance provided by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Cyber Security Framework.

BlueVoyant co-founder and CEO James Rosenthal said with the new platform, the company is aiming to raise the stakes in the cybersecurity landscape.

“We understand the escalating demands that security operations teams face in detecting and responding to threats swiftly. Our platform harnesses the power of AI to respond to those challenges with next-generation security operations across the entire attack surface,” he said. “The result is improved scalability, enhanced productivity and a stronger cyber risk posture, all based on cutting-edge technology.”
